Job Description:

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Dartford area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver (CAT C+E) to join the team on days.

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 04:30am until 13:15pm.

Job Type: Long term ongoing role.

The role:

• On-Site Trailer Shunting (4:30 AM – 9:00 AM): Efficiently shunt trailers on-site, ensuring smooth operations and timely trailer movements.
• Delivering to Amazon Dartford (9:45 AM – 1:00 PM): Deliver palletised parcels to Amazon’s site located 20 minutes from the depot. Ensure all deliveries are accurate and timely.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
• Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Reliability is a key requirement for this position.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
