Culina in Telford is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter to join our team. This role focuses on safely moving trailers in a fast-paced yard with 4on 4off night shifts from 18:00 to 06:00.

Key requirements include a full C+E entitlement with an in-date CPC and Tacho Card, plus prior shunting experience. A competitive package with a £1,000 attendance bonus is offered for consistent shift attendance.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Safely shunt vehicles and trailers around the yard.
• Position trailers in the correct areas in line with site instructions.
• Complete safety checks and report defects, damage or incidents promptly.
• Use two-way radios to communicate with the Transport and Yard teams.
• Support trailer temperature checks, fridge settings and fuel levels where required.
• Manage traffic flow in and out of the yard safely and efficiently.
• Liaise with other departments to support smooth loading and unloading.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene and housekeeping.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter to join our team at Telford. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused driver who enjoys working in a fast-paced transport environment and takes pride in keeping yard operations moving efficiently.

Shift

• 4on 4off Nights - 18:00 - 06:00

Salary

• £36,924.95 per annum - Cat C+E Licence.

£1,000 attendance allowance bonus applicable per annum if attendance of all shifts

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely shunt vehicles and trailers around the yard.
