Job summary

Winner Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Trunk Drivers for night trunking work based in Sheffield. You will transport goods between distribution hubs, ensuring on-time deliveries and safe handling.

Role requires night shifts, Monday–Friday pattern, and adherence to tachograph rules. Ongoing opportunities and support from the Winner Recruitment team are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Good understanding of vehicle safety and load security.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally.
• Complete night trunking runs to designated hubs.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Ensure loads are secure and paperwork is completed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Winner Recruitment is looking for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Trunk Drivers for night trunking work based in Sheffield.

The role involves transporting goods between designated distribution hubs, ensuring deliveries arrive safely and on time.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
• Completing night trunking runs to designated hubs
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring loads are secure and all relevant paperwork is completed
• Following drivers' hours regulations and tachograph requirements
• Maintaining punctuality and reliability
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Representing Winner Recruitment and the client professionally

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid digital tachograph card
• Good understanding of vehicle safety and load security
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
• Previous trunking experience preferred
