Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV Trunk Driver to join our client on an ongoing, full-time night shift contract in Bradford. The role focuses on regular trunking routes with trailer swaps, while depot staff handle loading and unloading.

Nights schedule with consistent start times and full-time hours. The driver will operate primarily on trunk runs, starting and finishing at the Bradford depot, with routes between distribution hubs and predictable nightly duties.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.
• Relevant Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• A reliable, professional approach to work.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Class 1 HGV Trunk Driver - Nights

Location: Bradford (BD4)
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
Hours: Monday night start, ongoing full-time work

KPI Recruiting are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 HGV Trunk Driver to join our client on an ongoing, full-time night shift contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for consistent night work, regular trunking routes and straightforward driving duties.

The Role

You will be completing a regular trunking route, starting and finishing at the Bradford depot, with scheduled journeys between distribution hubs.

Your route will be:

• Bradford (BD4 8UF) to Sutton Coldfield Hub

• Sutton Coldfield Hub to Durham

• Durham back to Bradford

The majority of the work involves trailer swaps, with depot staff completing most of the loading and unloading duties. This means you can focus on driving and completing your planned trunking route efficiently.

Shift Details

• Shift: Nights

• Start date: Monday night

• First shift: 5:00pm start to complete the necessary paperwork

• Ongoing start time: 6:00pm

• Average shift length: 9-10 hours

• Breaks: One-hour break deducted

• Work type: Ongoing, full-time assignment

Pay Rate

• £17.00 per hour

Requirements
