Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a skilled Class 1 night driver for an ongoing full-time role based in Eastleigh, UK. The position offers a £45,000 annual salary with overtime opportunities and guaranteed hours across Monday to Friday shifts.

Responsibilities include nightly trips to Burton on Trent for unloading, completing vehicle checks, and reporting delays to the night manager. A Full UK C+E licence with CPC and Digi Card is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK C+E Licence and valid CPC & Digi Card.
• 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Good communication and reliable professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Drive up to Burton on Trent each night to unload and return.
• Perform vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Operate a double decker curtain sider and report delays to the night manager.

FULL TIME C+E NIGHT DRIVER - £45,000

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf our client for an experienced Class 1 night driver based in Eastleigh. This role is a full time job doing 12-16 weeks through the agency. New passes welcome, must have commercial driving experience on 3.5t or Class 2. Salary: £45,000 per year. Start Time: 06:00pm. Guaranteed Hours: 10 hours, 5 nights per week.

Details of the role:

• Working Monday to Friday 06:00pm
• You will drive up to Burton on Trent every night to unload and back
• Drivers must complete vehicle checks before and after each shift
• The vehicle will be a double decker curtain sider
• You must be patient and report any issues or delays to the night manager
• The basic annual salary is £45,000 per year with opportunities of overtime
• Drivers ideally should have 2 years commercial driving experience
