Job summary

Evri in Bolton is seeking HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join our Bolton depot. Night shifts typically start between 00:00 and 02:00, driving longer routes across the EVRi network to ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely.

This full-time role offers £17.20 per hour with overtime £25.80, plus 32 days' annual leave, 3% pension contribution and life assurance. A range of flexible benefits, including vouchers, insurance and healthcare, is provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C E) entitlements, Driver CPC and digital tachograph.
• Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, but a driving assessment is required.
• Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset are expected.

Responsibilities

• Drive longer routes in waves, ensuring safe, efficient driving from depots to clients and other sites in the EVRi network.
• Ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely; update paperwork and assist depot staff with heavier items as needed.
• Keep Evri updated on road problems to enable alternative routing if required.
• Work on shifts; full-time contracts are 40 hours per week, 5 shifts out of 7 with rotas in advance.

HGV Class 1 Night Drivers Bolton!

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers (or Cat C+E Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Bolton depot.

Night shifts typically start between 00:00 and 02:00.

What You'll Do:

Our HGV Class 1 drivers usually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in the EVRi network. You'll ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely, paperwork updated and assist depot staff with heavier items from time to time. We know the great British roads and weather don't always play nicely, so you'll need to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.

Our HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts. Full-time contracts are 40 hours per week with some weekends. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.
