HG Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 Milk Tanker Drivers for farm collections in Evercreech, Somerset. Immediate starts with afternoon shifts and regular weekly earnings opportunities. Join a dairy distribution client and benefit from consistent pay, training, and ongoing support.

Qualificações

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence and CPC with Tachograph competence.
• No more than 6 points on licence and at least 1 year experience.
• Knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Ability to work independently and safely follow site procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Farm milk collections from dairy farms and transport to processing sites.
• Afternoon start times between 14:00 and 16:00.
• Safely operate milk tankers, including loading and transferring liquids.
• Complete milk sampling and documentation per site procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Follow drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations; training will be provided.

HGV Class 1 Milk Tanker Drivers – Farm Collections | Evercreech, Somerset

Afternoon Starts (14:00–16:00) | Immediate Starts

Looking for reliable HGV driving work in Evercreech, Somerset? Join HG Recruitment and benefit from competitive pay, weekly wages and regular shift opportunities with our established dairy distribution client, Gregory Distribution.

Pay Rates: holiday pay is accrued or included

• - Days £16.00-£19.14
• - Nights £18.25-£21.39

Estimated weekly earnings from £800 based on 50 hours at the weekday daytime rate, before deductions.

The role

• Farm milk collections only, collecting from dairy farms and transporting to designated processing sites.
• Afternoon start times between 14:00 and 16:00.
• Safely operate milk tankers, including loading, unloading and liquid transfers.
• Complete milk sampling and collection documentation in line with site procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Follow drivers' hours, tachograph and Working Time Regulations.
• Approximately 2–3 days of training provided, covering farm collection procedures, tanker operations and safe liquid transfers.
• In-cab cameras and monitoring systems are active.

Requirements

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence.
• Minimum experience 1 Year
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Confidence working independently and following site safety procedures.
• A reliable, professional and safety-focused approach.
• Willingness to complete the required farm collection training.
