Job summary

Tardis Environmental UK Ltd is seeking a flexible Class 1 HIAB Operative based at our Sandy Depot to operate HIAB vehicles and support our expanding fleet across the region. You will deliver and collect portable toilets, welfare units and water/waste tanks, while maintaining vehicle standards and accurate tachograph records.

Hours are Monday to Friday starting around 5:30am. We offer £20 per hour, weekly pay, overtime rates on weekends, a modern assigned vehicle, 28 days holiday, pension, PPE

Qualifications

• HIAB, tachograph card and Driver CPC required.
• Maximum 6 points on licence for insurance.
• Knowledge of drivers hours and WTRT is essential.
• Flexible, can-do attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate HIAB vehicle to deliver and collect toilets, welfare units and water/waste tanks.
• Load, secure and unload using HIAB crane per ALLMI standards.
• Complete pre-use checks and tachograph records.
• Handle delivery paperwork accurately and professionally.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.

Job description

Tardis Environmental UK Ltd are a well-established portable toilet and tanker hire business that operate a large fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles across various locations situated throughout the UK. We hire temporary waste and water solutions from 1000ltr waste and water storage tanks up to 30.000ltr storage tanks. Currently members of FORS and holdGoldaccreditation.

We are currently looking to recruit a flexible Class 1HIAB Operative based out of ourSandy Depotto drive our HIAB vehiclealong with all Tardis vehicles which fall into your scope of licence.

Hours: Monday to Friday (Start time from 5:30am)

Salary: £20.00 per hour

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating the HIAB vehicle to deliver and collect portable toilets, welfare units and water/waste storage tanks to client sites across the region
• Loading, securing and unloading equipment safely using HIAB crane in line with ALLMI standards
• Completing pre-use vehicle checks and maintaining accurate tachograph records
• Completing delivery documentation and paperwork accurately
• Representing Tardis Environmental professionally when on customer sites
• Operating additional Tardis vehicles within your licence scope as required
• Working efficiently to meet daily delivery schedules and customer deadlines
• Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness
