Job summary

GRS Group in St Albans is looking for a self-motivated HGV driver to join our on-site team. The role focuses on delivering goods safely, maintaining company vehicles, and upholding high service standards for customers.

You will drive LGV/HGV vehicles, check vehicle safety, and report faults promptly. The position includes long-week agreements, training, and opportunities for progression within a fast-paced business.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 License
• Drivers CPC Card
• Valid Tachograph Card
• Training on site on the day

Responsibilities

• To drive LGV/HGV vehicles and deliver goods and services as required.
• To drive company delivery vehicles and deliver its goods to customers efficiently and considerately whilst ensuring health and safety of self, the public and other road users.
• To ensure the good maintenance and operation of the company’s assets and to provide excellent service to customers.
• To complete reports and documentations to time and as accurately as possible to assist in the management of the business.
