Job summary

GRS Group in Husbands Bosworth is seeking a self-motivated LGV/HGV driver for a permanent on-site role. You will drive company delivery vehicles, ensure safe loading, maintain logs, and provide reliable service to customers while complying with road safety rules.

The position offers a 45-hour week with overtime, paid holidays, a company pension, regular day hours, and full training. On-site training and uniform are provided, with a supportive team committed to safety and growth.

Qualifications

• Training on site on the day.
• HGV Class 1 License with some experience.
• Drivers CPC Card.
• Valid Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicle safety and condition at start of day and record in system.
• Care for company assets and ensure long-term performance.
• Ensure vehicle is loaded/ restrained within legal limits.
• Drive efficiently within traffic laws.
• Prioritize health and safety of self and others on the road.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Assist in yard and other duties when not driving.
• Complete reports accurately to aid management.
