Job summary

GRS Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a self-motivated LGV/HGV driver to join a busy delivery team. The role involves driving company vehicles to customers and maintaining high safety standards.

With a focus on reliability and professional conduct, you will support daily operations and contribute to service quality and efficiency. Training and development opportunities are offered within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence with some experience.
• CPC Card held and valid.
• Tachograph Card required.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicle safety and condition at the start of each day and record it in the system.
• Care for company assets and ensure proper use as per manufacturer guidance.
• Ensure vehicle is securely loaded and weights are within legal limits.
• Drive efficiently and productively while obeying road traffic laws.
• Prioritise health and safety of self, public and other road users.
• Represent the company professionally on the road and at customers' premises.
• Assist in yard duties and other tasks when not driving.
• Complete reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Contribute to the wellbeing and profitability of the business.
• Comply with HR and Health & Safety requirements to promote a safe workplace.
