Driver Require LTD is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for night shifts in Lichfield. Ongoing role with starts from 13:00 to 21:00, with a 5-on/2-off pattern including weekends. Roles involve multi-drop deliveries, on-site checks, and close liaison with customers and the transport team.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to RDCs and swapping trailers, including potential live load.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects to ensure road-worthiness.
• Liaise with customers regarding deliveries.
• Adhere to customer rules and site regulations.
• Keep Transport Team updated on delivery status and whereabouts.
• Manage driving time to avoid infringements.

PAYE Day Pay Rates

• Weekday: £210.00 (£235.30 with holiday pay inclusive)
• Weekend: £235.00 (£264.50 with holiday pay inclusive)

Driver Require are recruiting Class 1 Drivers for a manufacturing company based in Lichfield. We're looking for morning or night shift, any 4 hour window between 13:00-21:00.

Main Responsibilities

• Delivering to RDC's multi-drop and swap trailers some potential live load
• Ensure that daily vehicle checks are carried out and any defects are duly reported, ensuring the vehicle and its load are road-worthy and do not pose a threat to other road-users.
• Liaising with Customers
• Abide by customers rules and regulations whilst on site
• Liaising with the Transport Team to ensure that they are kept appraised of the status of your delivery and whereabouts
• Effectively managing your driving time so that you don't acquire infringements.

Skills and Experience Required

• 2 year's experience of driving Class 1 vehicles on UK roads
• Maximum 6 points on licence with no major convictions (DD/DR/IN10's)
• Driver CPC qualification card
