Job summary

24-7 Recruitment Services has a client in Coventry seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for ongoing day or night shifts. The role involves multi-drop deliveries with handball at stores and RDCs.

Applicants must hold a Class 1 / C+E licence, have tachograph and CPC cards, and a clean licence with no more than 6 points. 6+ months road experience is required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months road driving experience.
• Hold valid Class 1 / C+E Licence.
• No more than 6 points (No DD, DR, TT or IN).
• Hold valid Tachograph and CPC cards.

Responsibilities

• Mixture of store deliveries and RDC deliveries.
• Manual handling on store deliveries (loading/unloading).
• Multi-drop deliveries with handball involved.
• Fresh shift patterns include Sunday-Thursday and Tuesday-Saturday, days and nights.

24-7 Recruitment Services are recruiting HGV Class 1 Driver for a client based in Coventry. This will be an ongoing opportunity for day or night drivers. This position is a multi-drop position with handball involved on deliveries.

HGV Class 1 driver will require:

Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License

No more than 6 points (No DD’s, DR’s, TT’s or IN’s)

Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards

HGV Class 1 driver work will involve

Mixture of store deliveries and deliveries to RDCs

On store deliveries manual handling involved (loading/unloading).

HGV Class 1 driver shift patterns are

Sunday to Thursday Days (04:00 – 06:00)

Tuesday to Saturday Days (04:00 – 06:00)

Sunday to Thursday Nights (14:00 – 18:00)

Tuesday to Saturday Nights (14:00 – 18:00)

HGV Class 1 driver PAYE pay rates are:

£18.52 Days

£19.66 Nights

Days Overtime after 8 hours £27.78

Nights Overtime after 8 hours £29.49
