Job summary

JT Recruit Ltd is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing work with a major distribution operator in the Burton-upon-Trent region.

The role runs 7 days a week with day and night shifts, offering flexible start times and ongoing, consistent work. In-house payroll management is provided for straightforward processing.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
• Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong understanding of EU Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

Responsibilities

• High-volume trunking and distribution work.
• Managing planned delivery schedules efficiently and safely.
• Performing standard daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintaining accurate digital tachograph records and POD documentation.
