Job summary

JT Recruit is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client in Eastwood. Roles include full-time, part-time, or weekends with shifts from 03:00 to 20:00 and 10–12 hour durations, seven days a week. You will drive modern vehicles on trunking runs, push cages, and adhere to tachographs and transport laws.

Applicants must have a full UK licence, CPC & Tachocard, and up to six points. Reliability and punctuality are essential for a long-term, ongoing role.

Qualifications

• Full UK Licence with CPC & Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences.
• Good knowledge of transport legislation and tachographs.
• History of reliability, punctuality and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Trunking work with no multidrop.
• Push cages down the trailer as required.
• Shifts run 10–12 hours and 03:00–20:00 start times.
• Long-term ongoing driving role with weekend shifts available.

• Shifts run 7 days a week Including weekends (shift pattern available to suit driver)
• Using the latest technology with modern vehicles.
• Trunking work - no multidrop.
• You will need to be able to push cages down the trailer.
• Long term ongoing work.
• Full UK Licence, CPC & Tacho Card.
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences.
• A good knowledge of Transport Legislation and Tachographs.
• A history of being reliable, punctual and dependable.
