HGV Class 1 Drivers – Droitwich

£17.30–£28.41 per hour | Full-Time | Permanent Opportunities

MINIMUM 1 MONTH OF CLASS 1 DRIVING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, PLUS A SOLID CLASS 2 DRIVING BACKGROUND

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established transport operation based in Droitwich, offering excellent rates of pay, regular shift patterns and long-term employment opportunities.

We welcome applications from drivers with varying levels of Class 1 experience. However, applicants with limited Class 1 experience must have a strong, established Class 2 driving background to be considered.

Competitive Pay Rates

DAY SHIFTS

• Monday – Friday: £17.30 per hour
• Overtime after 47.5 hours: £19.46 per hour
• Saturday: £19.46 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.95 per hour

NIGHT SHIFTS

• Monday – Friday: £19.77 per hour
• Overtime after 47.5 hours: £21.92 per hour
• Saturday: £21.92 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £28.41 per hour

Only 30 minutes' break deducted per shift!

About the Role

• Refrigerated multi-drop deliveries to retail stores and shops

Driver Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

Minimum 1 month of practical Class 1 driving experience – essential

Drivers with limited Class 1 experience must have substantial previous Class 2 driving experience

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Good understanding of WTD and EU Drivers' Hours Regulations

Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude

Willingness to work weekends as part of a regular rota

Please note: Applicants with only 1 month of Class 1 experience and minimal Class 2 experience will not be considered. A solid professional HGV driving background is essential.

All successful applicants must complete a driving assessment and induction before starting.
