Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for roles based in Middlewich, Cheshire. The position offers immediate starts, year-round work, and a path to permanent employment. You will drive modern Class 1 vehicles, transfer trailers to local sites, and complete required paperwork in line with regulations.

We offer competitive pay with overtime and a temp-to-perm path. The shifts include a 4 on 4 off pattern, with PAYE weekly pay and regular overtime opportunities through

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Knowledge of Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
• No IN, DD, or DR endorsements on licence

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
• Transfer trailers to local sites
• Conduct vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
• Adhere to road transport legislation and driver hours regulations
• Deliver professional and reliable service at all times

HGV Class 1 Transfer Driver - Immediate Starts Available

£17.54 per Hour | £22.33 per Hour After 45 Hours | Temp-to-Perm Opportunities

KPI Recruiting is currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join one of our prestigious clients based in Middlewich, Cheshire.

What's on Offer?

• Competitive pay rate of £17.54 per hour


• Enhanced overtime rate of £22.33 per hour after 45 hours worked


• 4 on 4 off shift pattern (other shift patterns considered!)


• 1800 start times (average 10 - 12 hours per shift!)


• Transferring trailers to local sites (normally 5 drops a night)


• No handballing required

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence


• Valid Driver CPC qualification

• Good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations


• No IN, DD, or DR endorsements on your licence


• Flexibility to accommodate changing workloads and shift requirements

Pay Rates

• First 45 hours - £17.54 per hour


• After 45 hours - £22.33 per hour

All pay is processed via PAYE and paid directly into your nominated bank account every Friday.
