Job description

HGV Class 1 Driver working day and night shifts for immediate starts in Evesham, paying up to £19.50ph.

HGV Class 1 Driver Pay rates

• Days: £16.50 per hour (Monday to Friday)
• Nights: £17.50 per hour (Monday to Friday)

Please note, the above rates do not include holiday pay, which is paid separately when you book your holiday.

Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.

Duties of HGV Class 1 Drivers

• Modern, well-maintained trucks
• Collection of palletised loads
• 1-4 drops depending on the route
• Electric pump truck or forklift offloading

Start times can vary, so flexibility is ideal. Shifts can be long, but in accordance with tachograph law, they typically last 10 to 12 hours per shift.

Pure Staff is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for day and night shifts for a client specialising in fresh produce wholesale and distribution nationwide. Our client in Evesham is one of our largest clients in Worcestershire, known for treating their drivers well based on positive feedback.

The client is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers who are flexible to work Monday through Sunday, supporting their customer’s needs.

Ideal candidate requirements

• Valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
• Minimum of 6 months experience
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)
