Class 1 Drivers - Days or Night shifts available.

Pure Staff is currently seeking Class 1 Drivers to work on either DAYS or NIGHTS shifts in Caldicot. We offer both ADHOC and ONGOING 4 on 4 off patterns.

Pay rates (PAYE)

• Days (Monday to Friday): £17ph
• Nights (Monday to Friday): £18ph

Shifts typically last between 10 to 12 hours.

Start times vary between 05:00 – 10:00 for day shifts and 16:00 – 20:00 for night shifts.

The role involves multiple contracts for general haulage or palletised goods, subcontracted by our client.

For general haulage and palletised goods, there will be NO HANDBALL; forklifts will be used for loading and unloading. Some clients may require electric handball.

Pure Staff does NOT work with umbrella or LTD company contractors.

In addition to the pay rate, you will receive holiday pay, paid separately as annual leave for any time booked off.

We have ongoing positions available for Class 1 Drivers within the Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain industry.

Our client seeks a candidate capable of driving an HGV C+E Class 1 articulated lorry and communicating effectively to ensure deliveries, collections, and trailer swaps are completed smoothly.

There will be a stop call wait procedure with clients to maximize productivity and inform drivers of delays or route changes.

Requirements to become a Pure Staff flexible employee

• HGV C+E Driving licence
• At least 6 months of HGV C+E Class 1 Driver experience
• CPC Card
• Clean Licence preferred, with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD, CD, CU, IN codes)
