Smart Solutions are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy recycling operation in Leicester. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for regular ongoing work and a 4-day working week.

Role involves trunking from Leicester to Edmonton with a walking floor trailer, daily checks, and safe load transport. Walking floor experience is preferred but not essential, with training available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Walking floor experience not essential; training available for right candidate.
• Experience with Class 1 motorway/trunking considered for suitability.

Responsibilities

• Completing a trunk run from Leicester to Edmonton.
• Transporting recycling waste using a walking floor trailer.
• Returning to Leicester with a backload.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Ensuring loads are transported safely.
• Following all transport and health & safety procedures.
• Completing routine driver paperwork as required.
