Driving Force Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join their team in Magor. You will deliver goods to depots, operate palletised handling equipment, and ensure loads are secured and compliant with safety standards.

The role includes opening heavy curtains, tightening straps, and handling refrigerated vehicles with 1–3 deliveries per day. A valid HGV 1 C+E licence, digital tachograph, and DQC card are required along with a minimum of six months’ experience.

Qualifikationen

• Has HGV 1 C+E licence and Digital tacho & DQC card.
• At least 6 months of driving experience.
• Reliable with strong communication and geographical knowledge.

Location: MagorContract Type: Temp to PermDriving Force Recruitment operating as an employment business are offering an excellent opportunity for HGV 1 Drivers to work for our award-winning client based in Magor (NP26) on a temp to perm contract.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday – Friday Days
• Start times between 03:00 am – 06:00 am
• Temp to perm/guaranteed shifts
• Weekend overtime available

PAYE Rates:

• Weekday days
• £16.50
• Weekday nights
• £19.25
• Saturday Day
• £21.00
• Saturday Night
• £22.34
• Sunday Day
• £22.34
• Sunday Night
• £23.50

Holidays will be accrued on shift basis and paid when you take holiday - we do not include holiday pay in your hourly rate

Hours: approximately 10-14 hours per shift

Your responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver:

• Delivering goods to depots, operating palletised handling equipment, such as pump trucks.
• Ensuring all cargo is safely secured and strapped.
• Opening and closing the heavy side curtains and releasing or tightening the load straps.
• Operating refrigerated vehicles, completing between 1-3 deliveries per day.

Class 1 Driver - About you:

• HGV 1 C+E licence, Digital tacho & DQC card
• Minimum 6 months experience
• No more than 6 points.
• No DR, DD, CD, IN10's
