Job summary

Major Recruitment is seeking Class 1 (HGV 1) drivers for a client based in Normanton. The role offers full-time hours with a strong pay rate and long-term prospects.

You will drive curtain side and box trailers to palletise goods for retail stores across the UK, with early morning shifts and potential for permanent roles. Induction is provided on start; PPE and safety boots are required.

Qualifications

• Must have CE Licence (HGV Class 1).
• DQC Card and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Excellent communication skills and safety focus required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to retail stores across the UK.
• Operate curtain side and box trailers, with some pump truck use.
• Meet tight schedules while maintaining high safety standards.
• Induction at start of first shift; PPE and safety boots required.
