Job summary

The Lockwood Group is seeking professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for its Ambergate team and nationwide UK operations. You will drive a premium fleet, complete electronic POD checks, and work with a dedicated Transport team to ensure on-time deliveries.

Role includes a 44-hour basic week, training opportunities (including ADR and FLT), and a competitive salary with potential bonuses. Benefits include pension, PPE, and 28 days’ annual leave.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and Digi card.
• Knowledge of Tachograph and WTD rules.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain excellent customer service.
• Communicate promptly with the Transport team.
• Use electronic POD devices and perform electronic walk-around checks (training provided).
