Job summary

Barker Ross Group is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver (Walking Floor / Tip Loader) based in Leicester (LE4). The role offers PM starts from 18:00, typically 10–12 hours per day on a Monday to Friday schedule, with a 12-month contract and 1 collection and 1 drop per shift. £23.00 per hour PAYE.

essential CPC and Digi Tacho are required; no prior experience is necessary provided licence and insurance criteria are met. Onsite parking and flexible working are highlighted as benefits.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Must have valid CPC and Digi Tacho.
• Licence restrictions: no IN10 or DR10, max 6 points, minimum 30 years old for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• HGV Class 1 driver for Walking Floor / Tip Loader in Leicester (LE4).
• 12 month contract with PM starts at 18:00.
• 1 collection and 1 drop per shift; 1-2 drops per day.
• Typically 10-12 hours per day; 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) with weekend possibility only if required.
