Job summary

Great Bear is hiring experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for our Lutterworth team on a permanent, full-time basis, supporting nationwide palletised deliveries in a 24/7 operation.

Carry out safe, professional deliveries, complete regional distribution Centre drops, and assist with occasional multi-drop or night-out duties. Start times around midnight with 55 hours per week and strict adherence to driver hours and tachograph rules.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence held and current.
• DCPC and Tachograph cards valid.
• Good understanding of Driver’s Hours and Working Time Directive.
• No more than six points on licence and no DD/DR convictions.
• Able to complete vehicle checks and report defects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete palletised general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres.
• Support occasional tipping or multi-drop deliveries as required.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and Road Transport Directive.
• Complete daily checks and report defects promptly.
