Job summary

GXO Redditch is offering a full-time HGV Class 1 Driver position supporting our Halfords contract. You will join a busy transport team, performing multi-drop deliveries across the UK and staying away from home when required.

The role includes regular night shifts with starts between 02:00 and 04:00, scheduled for 48 hours per week. Comprehensive benefits and ongoing training are provided to help you thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multidrop deliveries, typically up to 6 drops per shift, with returns from stores.
• Handle palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe loading and unloading procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office and deliver excellent customer service.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner with accurate paperwork.
