People Solutions are recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver Nights for a client based in Crick. Earn excellent hourly rates with overtime after 48 hours and ongoing year‑round shifts.

Roles include depot-to-depot trunking, safe vehicle operation, and strict load security. Immediate starts available with weekly pay and long‑term opportunities in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence required
• Driver CPC Card required
• Digital Tachograph Card required
• Minimum of two years' Category C+E driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences

Responsibilities

• Carrying out depot-to-depot trunking deliveries
• Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-use and post-use vehicle checks
• Ensuring loads are secured safely and correctly
• Completing all transport paperwork and documentation
• Complying with road transport legislation and company procedures

HGV Class 1 Driver Nights - Crick

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver Nights to join our well-established client based in Crick. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work throughout the year, and long-term stability within a supportive working environment.

Rates of Pay:

Days

• £17.92 per hour (Basic)
• £24.55 per hour (Overtime after 48 hours)

Nights

• £19.95 per hour (Basic)
• £25.44 per hour (Overtime after 48 hours)

All rates are PAYE with holiday accrued separately.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday, start times between 04:00 and 08:00
• Sunday to Thursday, start times between 19:00 and 02:00
• Ad hoc shifts and full weeks available
• Ongoing work all year round
• Immediate starts available

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver Nights, you will work:

• Completing depot-to-depot trunking deliveries
• Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-use and post-use vehicle checks
• Ensuring loads are secured safely and correctly
• Completing all relevant transport paperwork and documentation
• Complying with all road transport legislation and company procedures

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver Nights, you will need:

• A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence
• A valid Driver CPC Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of two years' Category C+E driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences

Training:

• Driver assessment prior to commencement
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout the assignment
