Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a food distribution client in Telford. This role involves operating moving deck and refrigerated trailers, with store deliveries and manual handling. Average shifts are around 12 hours with start times between 21:00 and 01:00, and 11:00-15:00. Paid weekly with rates from £16.13 to £21.33 per hour.

Assessment is paid if successful. Free car parking on site and ad hoc weekend work may be available depending on availability.

Qualifications

• 6 months driving experience
• CPC card required
• Tacho card required
• Experience in a similar role is required

Responsibilities

• Operate moving deck trailers and standard refrigerated trailers
• Store deliveries and manual handling involved
• Restack is required at some depots
