Job summary

Stobart (Part of the Culina Group) is seeking permanent HGV Class 1 drivers for the Daventry Dirft Central Distribution Centre. You will perform general haulage, store deliveries and ensure road safety and compliance across the region.

Shifts include day, night, and weekend options with hourly pay bands from £15.15 to £18.96 plus meal and night-out allowances. On-site benefits and ongoing training support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence and ideally 6+ months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points; no DD/DR convictions.
• Current valid DCPC and Tachograph cards.
• Understand and comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation; perform vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• General Haulage with Curtainside trailers to Distribution Centres and Stores.
• Collections from Stores to load out to Factories and Distribution Centres.
• Support General work, including occasional store deliveries and loading/unloading cages.
• Complete all necessary vehicle checks and documentation.
• Maintain high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism.
• Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to Driver's hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.
