Job summary

TRC Yorkshire is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for a Nottingham-based assignment. Shifts run across Monday to Sunday with afternoons and nights, and occasional days. Pay is £17.79 per hour PAYE (6am–10pm) and £18.29 per hour PAYE (10pm–6am).

Location: Nottingham NG6. The role involves trunking to the hub and requires flexibility with start times. Candidates must hold a full UK Class 1 licence (C&E), valid DCPC and Tachograph card, and have at least 6 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card must be valid.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
