Job summary

Culina's Chilled & Fresh division in the UK invites LGV Class 1 drivers to join a structured, permanent distribution operation based in Evesham. This full-time role features a 4 on 4 off day shift, with average 11-hour shifts and opportunities for extra shifts to boost earnings.

As part of our New Pass Programme, you will be supported with a dedicated development plan and buddy system to help you safely start and progress your driving career.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid LGV Class 1 Licence and CPC.
• Knowledge of the Road Transport Directive and drivers’ hours.
• Excellent communication and pressure-management skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out chilled distribution deliveries to main retail RDCs nationwide
• Delivering to key customer sites including major UK retailers
• Completing self-tip deliveries where required, including breaking down pallets at certain sites.
• Collecting equipment or returns from customer locations and bringing them back to site.
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.

We’re looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our chilled distribution operation based in Evesham. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who want a structured shift pattern, regular work and the chance to be part of a busy, established transport operation delivering to major retail distribution centres across the UK. As part of our New Pass Programme, we will put you through a dedicated development programme and buddy scheme to ensure you have the essential skills for a safe and successful driving career!

This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC deliveries. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.

Shift patterns available

• 4 on 4 off (Days)

Average shifts are around 11 hours, depending on route and operational requirements, and additional shifts may be available for drivers who want to increase their earnings.

Pay rates

Our HGV Drivers have strong earning potential, with earnings up to £34000 on the 4 on 4 off Day Shift, plus opportunity for overtime for additional OTE.

You’ll also receive a £5 daily meal allowance, with Double Decker and disturbance allowances paid where applicable.

Potential to earn up to £1300 annual safe driver bonus scheme {paid £350 a quarter} based on safe and efficient driving

What You’ll Be Doing
