Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers for Goole. The role involves multi-drop store deliveries for a major supermarket chain, with 50-hour weeks and 8-hour shifts guaranteed. Training and ongoing driver support are provided, with 24/7 team assistance and mentoring available.

Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, and tachograph card, with up to 6 points. Excellent health and safety standards and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out multi-drop store and RDC work in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely.
• Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required.
• Adhering to driver hours regulations and working time rules.
• Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues to the transport office.
