Job summary

TRCGroup is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for the Goole area. You will work across shifts including weekends, with start times from 12:00pm to 9:00pm, and all hours paid at night rate.

Role involves depot pulls, customer site work, loading/unloading, and occasional trailer swaps. A valid Class 1 licence, DCPC, and a clean points record are required, with 6+ months' experience and strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C+E).
• At least 6 months proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Flexibility to work shifts Monday–Sunday, 12:00–21:00 start times.
• Travel to local site for tacho download before being put forward.

Responsibilities

• Execute depot pull, fill trailer at the depot and transport to a hub.
• Take vehicle to customer, collect trailer, deliver to hub, return to depot.
• Assist with loading/unloading at customer sites and in the depot.
• Perform drop and swap operations, tail lift usage, occasional uncoupling.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely deliveries and efficient ops.
• Attend on-site tacho card download and induction before starting.
