Job summary

Pure Staff's Driving Team is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing shifts with a major UK logistics client based in Cullompton. You will perform multi-drop pallet deliveries and work on day shifts with typical start times around 05:00–06:00, _approximately 10 hours_ per shift, across Monday to Sunday.

Pay ranges from £17.00 to £19.05 per hour (holiday accrued) on weekdays and £17.72 to £19.86 per hour on weekends, with potential to secure a permanent position for reliable drivers.

Qualifications

• UK Category C+E Licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude
• Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph regulations and vehicle safety checks
• Previous multi-drop or palletised distribution experience is beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to commercial customers and distribution locations
• Make up to 10 deliveries per shift
• Operate modern articulated vehicles
• Adhere to Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations and safety checks
