Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver to join Berkshire-based operations for trunking between national depots. Shifts include mornings, evenings and weekends, with consistent, ongoing work.

A valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph card are essential, with up-to-date driving experience and no more than six points. You will perform vehicle checks and follow planned routes, upholding safety and professionalism on every run.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 1+ years).
• A valid and in date CPC + Digital Tachograph card.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 1 year.
• Max 6 points on licence.
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top‑tier safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.
