Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers to support nationwide trunking from Heathrow. The role offers morning, evening and weekend shifts with pay ranging £22.20–£25.32 per hour and weekly pay.

This temporary/ongoing position includes depot-to-depot driving and on-site support from the Pertemps team. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1/CE licence with at least 1 year experience, a current CPC, and a Digital Tachograph card, plus up to 6 points on their licence and the ability

Qualifications

• Up to 6 points on licence; able to pass vetting/DBS checks.

Responsibilities

The Job

• Trunking between Royal Mail depots
• No handballing - just organised, planned routes
• Morning, evening and weekend shifts available

Key Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top-tier safety
• Follow scheduled routes with precision
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run

What You Need

• Valid HGV Class 1 / CE licence (held for 1 years)
• A valid and in date CPC
• Digital Tachograph card
• 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 1 year
• Max 6 points on your licence
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks
