Job summary

Pertemps are recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers (C+E) in Croydon to support Royal Mail nationwide trunking. Expect trunking between depots, no handballing, and fixed morning, evening and weekend shifts.

You will be backed by a trusted national brand for ongoing work through 2026. Required: HGV Class 1 / C+E licence for 1+ year, CPC and Digital Tachograph card, 180+ days of Class 1 in last 2 years, max 6 points, and ability to pass vetting/DBS checks.

The Job

• Trunking between Royal Mail depots
• No handballing — just organised, planned routes
• Morning, evening and weekend shifts available

Key Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites

• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run

What You Need

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 1+ years)
• A valid and in date CPC + Digital Tachograph card
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years
• Max 6 points on your licence
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks
