Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver (CE) to support nationwide trunking from Heathrow. You will operate trunk routes, perform basic vehicle checks and maintain high safety standards during every shift.

Shifts include morning, evening and weekends with guaranteed hours and weekly pay. A valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC tachograph card and up to six points are required, along with DBS checks clearance.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / CE licence held for at least 1 year.
• CPC Digital Tachograph card and up-to-date.
• Min 180 days of Class 1 driving in the last year.
• Max 6 points on licence.
• Able to pass vetting and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national Royal Mail depots.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision and safety.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top-tier safety.
• Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run.

The Job

• Trunking between Royal Mail depots


• No handballing - just organised, planned routes

Key Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites

What You Need

• Valid HGV Class 1 / CE licence (held for 1 year)


• A valid and in date CPC Digital Tachograph card


• 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 1 year


• Max 6 points on your licence


• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks
