Job summary

Rapier Employment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) Drivers for a leading retail logistics operation based in Hatfield. This role offers ongoing work with regular shift patterns, guaranteed shifts through December/January, and premium overtime.

You will deliver retail goods across North London, Essex and Kent with well-planned routes and minimal manual handling. Shifts and pay rates vary by time, with weekly/pay options available.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence (C+E or C).
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver retail goods from distribution centre to stores.
• Manage palletised loads with minimal manual handling.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate and on schedule.
• Complete transport paperwork and stay compliant.
• Provide professional, friendly service at deliveries.
