Job summary

R&V Group is seeking Class 1 drivers for a well-known company. The role is Monday to Friday, trunking work, delivering Company and Third Party products to locations per schedule.

You will ensure paperwork is completed accurately, adhere to health and safety rules, and maintain daily vehicle checks. Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience required; opportunity to develop your skills and join a supportive transport team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Class 1 driving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations per delivery schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe and adhere to health, safety and hygiene rules.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.
