Job summary

R&V is seeking Class 1 drivers to join our team for delivering Company and Third Party products to specified locations. The role emphasizes a friendly environment, skills development, and a competitive salary.

Key duties include accurate paperwork, health and safety compliance, transport operations awareness, tachograph compliance, and POD handling. Weekly pay, 12h shift guarantee, and flexible shift options are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Class 1 driving.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including health, safety and hygiene.
• Maintain a working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Perform daily vehicle checks as per procedure.
• Ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Aim for fuel efficiency targets set by the business.

• Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.
