Job summary

R&V Group is seeking Class 1 drivers for ongoing work in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities include trunking between depots, delivering Company and Third Party goods, and ensuring all paperwork is complete and compliant with safety rules.

The role requires a valid UK Class 1 licence, at least 1 year of experience, a good command of English, and flexibility with start times. Competitive pay and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Class 1 driving.
• National Insurance Number.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good level of English.
• Flexibility in starting times.

Responsibilities

• Depo to Depo, Trunking.
• Deliver Company and Third Party products to locations according to the delivery schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe health, safety and hygiene rules and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of transport operations.
• Manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks.
• Ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Achieve fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably required.

• Depo to Depo, Trunking.
• Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.

Essential Requirements:
