R&V is looking for Class 1 drivers for a well known and respected company. You will deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule, while maintaining high safety and paperwork standards.

Benefits include weekly pay, 24/7 on-call support for drivers, and shift patterns of 4 days on/4 days off or 5 days on/3 days off with a 12h shift guarantee. Flexibility in starting times is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Class 1 driving.
• National Insurance Number required.
• Right to work in the UK must be stated.
• Good level of English is necessary.
• Flexibility in starting times is expected.

Responsabilités

• Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and according to the delivery schedule.
• Complete paperwork correctly and thoroughly.
• Adhere to health, safety and hygiene rules and procedures.
• Maintain working knowledge of transport department operations.
• Manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed as per procedure.
• Obtain PODs and return them to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Meet fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Perform any other duties as reasonably required.

Job Description:

• Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.
