Culina is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Transport Logistics division at Tesco Dirft Central Distribution Centre in Daventry. You will be responsible for general haulage, delivering to distribution centres and stores, with a focus on safety, customer service and reliable delivery standards.

Shifts include day and night starts, with weekend work possible. We offer competitive hourly rates (£15.15–£18.96) plus meal and night-out allowances, plus a range of company benefits

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence and ideally 6 months HGV Class 1 experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
• Current DCPC and tachograph cards.
• Understand Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to conduct vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilités

• General Haulage with Curtainside trailers to Distribution Centres and Stores.
• Collect from Stores to load out to Factories and Distribution Centres.
• Support General work, including occasional store deliveries and loading/unloading cages.
• Complete all necessary vehicle checks and documentation.
• Maintain high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism.
• Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to Driver’s hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.
