Job summary

Culina is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers for our Cannock site to support general haulage, store and RDC deliveries across the region. We value safe driving, dependable delivery standards and excellent customer service.

The role offers full-time permanent contracts with various shift patterns including Nights, plus competitive hourly rates (£14.60–£18.41) and tax-free meal and night-out allowances. We provide extensive benefits and training to help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence and minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
• Current DCPC and Tachograph cards.
• Understand drivers' hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to report vehicle defects and carry out checks.
• On-site health and safety compliance and safety mindset.
• Excellent communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• General Haulage with Curtainside trailers to DCs and stores.
• Occasional store deliveries and loading/unloading cages.
• Complete vehicle checks and correct documentation.
• Maintain high levels of safety, compliance and professionalism.
• Work closely with transport team for smooth operations.
• Adhere to drivers' hours, WTD and tachograph rules.
