Job summary

Tesco Clothing DC in Kilsby, Daventry is hiring HGV Class 1 drivers to trunk goods to stores and distribution centres. You will join an ongoing roster with fixed patterns and start times from dawn to late evening, 4:00–23:59, with guaranteed hours.

Shifts run Monday to Friday or weekends, with competitive PAYE rates (£17.50–£25 per hour) and benefits including weekly pay, holiday pay and pension. Valid UK HGV1 licence, CPC and tachograph are required, and full training is provided on site.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence holder with valid CPC and tachograph card.
• Clean driving record with ≤6 points.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules.

Responsibilities

• Predominantly trunking; may include large store deliveries and collections.
• Operate within fixed shift patterns and rosters.
• Maintain punctuality and professional conduct on all trips.
