Job summary

Driver Hire Gatwick is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to operate from our Crawley depot, delivering palletised freight across the South of England and handling general haulage duties. Start times range from 07:00 to 08:00, with emphasis on safety and daily vehicle checks.

We offer weekly pay and flexible patterns to suit your availability, with a reputable logistics company supporting your ongoing work requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C+E) licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements: CD/IN/DR/TT).
• Able to operate vehicles safely and responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised freight across the South of England.
• General haulage duties.
• Start times between 07:00-08:00.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks per Health & Safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with driver hours and road safety regulations.
• Safe loading and unloading of goods.
