HGV Class 1 Driver – Early Start, Trunking & Collections

Job summary

TRCGroup in Bristol is seeking a temporary driver with potential for ongoing work to perform trunking and delivery/collection runs. Expect early starts of 04:30 and a Monday–Friday schedule, with 10-hour shifts and up to two runs per shift.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and Digi Card, and at least 3 months of experience. You must understand driver hours regulations and remain reliable and flexible throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 3 months experience required.
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences only.
• Valid CPC and Digi Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Completing trunking work between the client’s hubs.
• Completing up to 2 runs per shift and then on occasions a collection on the way back.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintaining a professional approach at all times.
