Job summary

The successful candidate will support our workshop operations at Chassis Cab by handling vehicle collections and deliveries and moving vehicles to and from the workshop for servicing, maintenance and repair.

Ideal candidates hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least two years' experience, possess strong communication and customer service skills, and are reliable, organised and able to work independently in a busy team.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least two years' experience.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Professional and friendly manner; reliable and organised.
• Understands vehicle safety and workshop environments; able to work independently.
• Desirable forklift licence; willing to be trained to operate.
• Company will support training hours to keep Driver CPC up to date.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver vehicles to and from customers.
• Move vehicles around the site and workshop safely and efficiently.
• Assist with vehicle loading and unloading as required.
• Assist with brake testing and workshop vehicle movements.
• Carry out general workshop housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
