Job summary

The Best Connection in Oldham is seeking Class 1 Day Drivers for ongoing work in the Middleton area. An HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence is required, with 25+ years of age due to insurance rules. A Digital Tachograph card and Driver's CPC are also required, with good knowledge of working time regulations and motorway networks.

Start times begin at 05:00. Weekend work is available during peak times. Rates include £18.00 per hour daytime, plus time-and-a-half after 8 hours (£27.00).

The Best Connection - Oldham require Class 1 Day Driversto work on an ongoing basis for our client based in the Middleton Area #HGV #CE

Some jobs will require you to operate a tail lift.

Start times will vary from 05.00am.

First couple of weekstraining but will fall into a regular shift pattern there after : Weekend work is available during Peak Times

Rates:

• DaysBasic - £18.00
• Time and a half after 8 hours £27.00
• Min 8 hours paid

Specific Job Requirements

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (due to insurance purposes no DR's, IN's and must be aged 25yrs or older)
• Digital Tachograph card (UK Issued )
• Driver's CPC
• Excellent knowledge of driver's working time regulations, and a good understanding of the motorway network
• Flexible attitude to working hours.
• Reliability and excellent timekeeping is essential for success
